As soon as I left school, I started working during my college holidays; which involved 3 hours of commuting across London each day, including working 10-12 hour days on top. IT at the University of Derby
September 2008 - May 2013 |
The university provided me with an invaluable experience, initially studying Computer Networks and passing my first year. During my second year, I faced a number of challenges and eventually passed in 2012, then completed my third year in 2013 with a 2:2. During my time there, I liaised with new people including the IT Director and further developed my skills. |
ICT at Derby College
September 2005 - June 2008 |
In my first year, I studied A/S levels in ICT, Maths & Business and decided that it would be more suitable to do a more coursework intensive type of study, therefore I switched to a BTEC in my second year. Continuing with my studies, the BTEC National Diploma in ICT has transformed the way I work today, enabling me to learn how to program and build web journeys. During pre class time, I discovered the 'iFrame' and have been incorporating it within my projects ever since, to build revolutionary applications. |
Sinfin Community Secondary School
September 2000 - June 2005 |
School was certainly an important building block of my life, allowing me to become a character, meet people who I can call best friends today and learn the basics of life. I finished with 8 GCSE's including a 'B in Maths', 'C in IT', 'CC in Science', 'C in English Language', 'D in French', 'D in Resistant Materials' and a 'D in English Literature'. |

It took roughly 5 hours per day over 3 weeks to develop the prototype, during my spare time. |

Facebook Feedback |
Feedback is a great way for corporations to respond to design flaws and to further develop their infrastructure. To date, I've suggested hundreds of updates to Facebook and have seen some of them in action. Therefore, each week you will find suggestions posted on this feedback channel, presented in a user friendly format with reasons to why they will make a difference to the Facebook Community. |
